[And in the last half mile Tony slows down, rolling up smoothly in front of the apartment complex. It's a sport's car so the top is down and Bruce is completely and totally free to just hop in. That's what Tony would do anyway screw doors.]

[Bruce is leaning against the wall waiting for him. He smiles on when he sees that car and opens the door to go in. Sorry Tony but he's lacking flare. He drops his bag into the backseat.]

Hi. Do you own any bad cars?

[Tony is grinning!]

Do you know me?

[Despite being in a totally rad and awesome and hot car... Tony drives the speed limit and obeys all traffic laws back to City Solutions :(

Doesn't mean he can't play some AC/DC on the way, right?]

Engineers don't have bad cars, they just don't. I don't suppose you work with that kinda stuff?

[Bruce isn't going to limit your music choice. He likes AC/DC secretly. At least it doesn't make him angry. His shoulder relax as they go along]

No. I can make pitiful cars keep going but apart from that I'm better with a human body.

[And the large egg-shaped dome of City Solutions, twinkling in the sunlight, can be seen over the tops of other buildings.]

Next time I need open-heart surgery, then I'll just come your way.

You needing that is another thing that is on my list of things I don't want to happen.

[Bruce gestures to the overly tall building.]

I'm guessing you own the the biggest building in the area.

You never know when a guy'll need open heart surgery, Bruce, you just don't.

[He passes it off as a light, amusing thing-- but there's something deep-set in the lines on this face, the knit between his eyebrows.]

Of course I own the biggest building - and the nicest car, the nicest suits. It's all part of the Stark package.

[Bruce's hand connects briefly with Tony's arm. He understands. They've both had things that changed their lives drastically.]

Don't Tony. You're part of the Avengers. We've got your back.

[There is a little half, warm smile.]

There are better bits to the Stark package.

[Tony smiles at the contact. There was something very grounding knowing some other guy out there gets it. They get it. Both the better bits and the worse bits, there's acceptance and that's nice.]

Speaking of the Avengers, Barton tells me the big guy saved my ass from becoming a metal pancake.

[There's a thank you somewhere in there, laces between the words.]

I heard that too. [Bruce is awkward about accepting the thank you for something he didn't do. It was the Hulk. His personal monster who had helped out. He'd done nothing. Someday, he worries people will want the Hulk around all the time.]

I hear he roared to get you breathing to.

Does this mean the big guy likes me?

[He pulls into his garage, now, the one that leads straight into his workshop.]

Maybe. The only other person he has ever protected is Betty.

[Bruce gets quickly out of car. It means nothing okay Tony.]

[He doesn't say that, technically, Bruce and the Hulk saved a whole city - and by extension the whole world.]

Girlfriend of yours?
